The Gloria is an old parsonage dating from 1807 and was used as such until 20 years ago.
We purchased the house in 2022 from the Assumption of Mary Parish and, over the course of more than 1.5 years, extensively restored, renovated, and modernized it in close consultation with the historic preservation authority, so that today you can enjoy modern living comfort in a historic setting.
The Gloria is the ideal destination for a short stay—for example, while hiking the Eifelsteig—as well as for a short or long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Stay with friends and enjoy modern luxury in a historic building.

Frequently asked questions
Are pets (dogs) allowed?
We have a dog ourselves, and he loves it here—so it’s a definite “yes.” The house also has a large yard.
Where can I get the key for my accommodation?
The house is equipped with an electronic locking system, we change the code for each guest individually. Each code has a clearly defined start and end date, including the exact time, which means that you can safely enter the house at 4 pm on the day of arrival and be sure that the previous tenant no longer has access.
When can I move into my accommodation on the day of arrival?
The house is available freshly cleaned from 16.00 on the day of arrival.
When do we have to leave the accommodation on the day of departure?
We ask that the house is vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. If no direct successor tenant should follow, the departure can take place after arrangement also later.
Are towels and bed linen provided?
